About Trimbos Pizza

PIZZA COURSE "101" ........Some Q & A about Pizza

Q. Is Pizza good for you?

A. A resounding YES! Look at a pizza. The Trimbo's Favorite pizza has the four basic food groups right there in front of you. A cheese pizza has less groups but it gives you the grains, Vegetables (in the sauce and finish spices) and the dairy groups to sustain a healthy diet. Good for breakfast too ...hot OR cold...just don't pop it into the Microwave...you don't live in a convencience store do you.....see below for instructions

Some pizzas are healthier than others. Fresh locally purchased toppings are what Trimbo's uses. Nothing frozen or ordered by the barrel or shipped in from some factory or the home office somewhere. We make it all right there in our kitchen on Park st.

Q. Why is Trimbo's always talking about "Pizza Dough made fresh daily"? Isn't it ALL Fresh?

A. No...Not all dough is fresh. Fresh made dough is made daily on location like at Trimbo's. Fresh is healthier and in our opinion makes the best pizza. It takes a long time to get it right and Trimbo's staff has been at it for a long time. You will find no preservatives, additives or chemicals in Trimbo's pizza dough. Many pizzerias use frozen dough made in a factory some where and purchased from a distributor. Most of our competitors offer dough (amoung other things) made elsewhere, then frozen then shipped to the pizzeria, then thawed out and served to you. Every Trimbo's pizza is made to order...when you order it and NEVER from frozen dough. Remember ...If you don't see a large mixer in the kitchen, chances are they don't make their own dough on the premises. We also have Glueten free dough for special order.

Q. Does size matter?

A. You bet it does, and not just by how hungry you are. In the pizza industry we measure pizza in area or sq inches. Trimbo's Large pizza is 18 inches. Our Medium is 13 inches on the menu but is normally hand thrown to 14 inches. The big chains usually offer a 14 inch Large pizza and sometimes a 16 inch Extra Large pizza. At the risk of comparing a Trimbo's Pizza to one of the large pizza chain stores ( there is NO comparison ) lets do the math and break it down. This applies to any pizza serving the size pizzas described below but the price IS taken from a major chain only for ease of math.

Lets compare a Trimbo's Large pepperoni pizza, at 18 inches, and 254.3 sq inches of area to the normal chain large 14 inch pepperoni pizza at 153.9 sq inches in area. The Trimbo's large is 39.512% bigger then the 14 inch pizza. So lets call it 40% larger than the 14 chain pizza and 27% larger than the 16 inch Extra Large chain pizza. At Trimbos' you pay LESS of your hard earned dollars for MORE pizza.

The chain Pepperoni pizza at $14.50 plus 2.00 delivery fee is $16.50 and 10 cents per sq inch, while a large Trimbo's Pepperoni Pizza delivered FREE north of I 90 at $15.50 is only 6 cents a sq inch, 40% bigger than the competition, cost 40% less per sq inch, and STILL $1.00 less than the chain pizza. Where is your money going???? You do the math....Where are YOU going to get order YOUR pizza.

The Moral. You are paying 40% more per sq inch for a pizza that is 40 % smaller than a Trimbo's pizza. WHY!!!. Oh By the way. count the pieces of pepperoni you get on those chain pizzas too....They don't come close.
So Order a Trimbo's pizza right now and find out..............

Q. How do I re-heat a Trimbo's Pizza or slice?

A. NEVER use the thermo nuclear device with the timer...Your Microwave oven. For best results....Take the time to preheat your oven to 500 degrees and pop it in there for a only few minutes. It will taste like you're sitting in Trimbo's..

Q. Coupons...do you offer coupons?

A. Yes we do, and we won't bait you with specials that you have to ASK for. Some operators do. I called a big pizza delivery chain the other night just for grins and ordered a large Pepperoni pizza for $11.99 pluss two bucks for delivery. I said "Hey...this coupon says "Any way I want it" for $9.99. The reply was " Sir that is for Carry out only." What is up with that. I was never told about any specials up front. At Trimbo's you get our best price for what you are ordering whether you have a coupon or not. If we have a special on what you order...that is what you get. If your order is even CLOSE to a special we are running then we will suggest that special.
